GPO NASHVILLE TEAM

CONTACT US

WE HAVE A PASSION FOR CARS.

GPO is driven to be the best. We want nothing more than to perform beyond your expectations. Everyone on the GPO team is not only motivated to provide exceptional performance we are all auto enthusiasts. When we recommend maintenance it’s because we know what your car needs. We know what breaks, what wears out, what to look out for. We are constantly learning those things as newer cars age. We try to stay ahead of that by watching the trends. If we see a certain car has a certain part go bad with some regularity we begin to educate our customers that drive similar cars. Prevention is much more cost effective than damage.

Jeremy

Jeremy Bauer

Parts Manager

Hailing from the rocky shores of New England, Jeremy has been around auto parts his entire life. In 1970, his father Fred opened Snitzel Brothers Foreign Auto Parts in Clinton, CT. This store would grow into two additional family-run stores. The Groton location store, under the guidance of Fred’s nephew, and his nephew’s son, would eventually evolve into FCP Euro. Through middle school, high-school, college and graduate school, Jeremy could always be found working on an old VW or British car. After Graduate school, an opportunity on the parts counter opened at the local VW dealership in Cool Springs. There, Jeremy worked his way to Parts Manager after 4 years. In 2016, he parted ways with VW, and moved across I-65 to work at the parts counter again at Audi. After just 6 months at Audi, he was named the parts manager at the nearby Porsche dealership, where he worked until early 2021.

Coming to GPO, Jeremy reunited with former co-workers Corey, Gene, Patrick and Joe from jobs past, and brought his three-plus decades of parts and wrenching experience to the team. In his spare time, Jeremy can still be found working on an old VWs, because much to his wife Beth’s chagrin, Jeremy owns at least 10 VWs. Currently, he owns a Cabriolet, a Rabbit Pickup, 2 Rabbit GTIs, a Quantum Turbo Diesel Wagon, a MK2 16V GLI, a diesel Westfalia Vanagon, a V8 Toaureg, a MK3 Jetta, a MK4 TDI Wagon, and an eye for more VWs. However, despite his love of most things VW, the favorite of his collection is a 1989 BMW 325i, which someday may sport an S52 conversion.

In addition to tinkering on Euro cars, he enjoys moonlight walks on the beach, romantic candlelit dinners, squirrels and duct tape. Jeremy is a Capricorn.
